On September 23rd, Mr. Imai, Chairperson of the Fondation TODAbidjan, and Ms. Shimokawa, a board member, visited the Japan Corner of University Felix Houphouet Boigny of Cocody from Japan and warmly encouraged the Japanese language learners. On that day we held a Hiragana & Katakana Karuta Competition and a Marshmallow Game Competition, which created a lively and cheerful atmosphere. Both activities were brand-new experiences for the students, giving them a valuable opportunity to learn with joy and to realize the importance of teamwork. After the event, many students shared their excitement, saying, “It was my first time playing Karuta and the Marshmallow Game—it was so much fun! I’m now even more motivated to keep studying Japanese.
