11月7日（金）、JICAコートジボワール事務所の若林基治（わかばやし もとはる）所長 が Japan Corner にお越しくださいました。
日本語学習者によるJICAに関する発表をご覧いただき、温かいお言葉をかけてくださったほか、参加者からの多くの質問にも丁寧にお答えいただきました。 発表を行った学生や参加者からは、
「JICAについては以前から知っていたが、より具体的に知ることができて良かった」
「ちょうどJICAのABEイニシアティブについて調べていたので、直接お話を伺うことができてうれしかった。日本語や日本文化を学ぶ意欲がさらに高まった」 といった声が多く聞かれました。 Fondation TODAbidjan では、日本語だけでなく、日本文化や日本の商習慣への理解を深めることを重視しています。その一環として、コートジボワールと関わりのある日本企業や組織を自ら調べ、発表する「日本企業研究」の活動を行っています。 今後も、ご協力くださる皆さまへの感謝を忘れず、多くの日本人の方々との交流の機会を広げていきたいと思います。

On Friday, November 7, we had the great honor of welcoming Mr. Motoharu Wakabayashi, Chief Representative of the JICA Côte d’Ivoire Office, to Japan Corner.
He kindly attended the presentations by our Japanese language learners about JICA, offered warm and encouraging words, and answered many insightful questions from the participants. Students shared their impressions, saying: “I had known about JICA before, but this session helped me understand it more concretely and boosted my motivation.”
“I was just researching JICA’s ABE Initiative, so I was very happy to have the chance to hear directly from Mr. Wakabayashi. It increased my enthusiasm for learning Japanese language and culture.” At Fondation TODAbidjan, we place great importance not only on studying the Japanese language but also on developing a deeper understanding of Japanese culture and business practices.
As part of our Japanese Company Research project, students independently research and present on Japanese companies and organizations connected to Côte d’Ivoire. We sincerely appreciate the kind support of everyone involved and will continue creating more opportunities for meaningful exchange between Ivorian learners and Japanese people.
