3月19日（木）、当財団は山内太郎会長（北海道大学教授）のもと、国連開発計画（UNDP）常駐代表ブレルタ・セラ氏と覚書（MOU）を正式に締結いたしました。
本パートナーシップは、若者の人材育成および社会・職業的包摂の推進に向けた共通の取り組みにおいて、重要な節目となるものです。あわせて、雇用創出や若者のエンパワーメントに関する課題に対し、持続可能かつ実効性の高い取り組みを推進していくという、双方の強い意思を示すものでもあります。
締結式においてUNDP常駐代表は、国連が定める持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）の達成に貢献する取り組みを支援していく意向を改めて表明するとともに、官民双方の関係者間における連携強化の重要性を強調しました。
本協力を通じて、当財団は若者に対する持続的なインパクトの創出と、社会経済発展への一層の貢献を目指してまいります。
また、山内太郎会長は、本パートナーシップの実施に対する強い期待を示し、本協力がTODA財団のビジョンおよび戦略目標と高い整合性を有するものであることを強調しました。

ENGLISH VERSION

On Thursday, March 19th, under the chairmanship of Taro Yamauchi (Professor at Hokkaido University), our foundation formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Brelta Serra, Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

This partnership marks a significant milestone in our shared efforts to promote youth development and social and professional inclusion. It also demonstrates the strong commitment of both parties to promoting sustainable and effective initiatives to address challenges related to job creation and youth empowerment.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Serra reiterated his intention to support initiatives that contribute to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation among stakeholders in both the public and private sectors.

Through this cooperation, our foundation aims to create a lasting impact on young people and make further contributions to socio-economic development.

Chairman Taro Yamauchi also expressed strong expectations for the implementation of this partnership and emphasized its high alignment with the TODA Foundation's vision and strategic objectives.
