2025年6月20日（金）、日本文化クラスの日本企業発表で初級2クラスのエッソ・ウルリッチさんが丸紅について発表し、丸紅アビジャン事務所　所長の廣谷氏にもお越しいただき、発表についてコメントをいただいたり、疑問・質問に直接お答えいただいたりすることができた。廣谷氏から直接「よく準備していてすばらしい」という言葉をいただき、ウルリッチさんは、自信を持つことができた。初めての日本人ゲストに、学生たちの目は輝き、質問は教師が止めるまで全く止まらず、ある学生は「廣谷さんが1つ1つの質問に丁寧ながらもユーモアをもって笑顔で答えられていたのが非常に印象的だった。こういう機会があるのであれば、私も企業発表を頑張ろうと思った。」と、嬉しそうに語り、日本語・日本文化学習のモチベーションを上げていた。

Mr. Hirotani personally told Mr. Ulrich, "You're well prepared, it's amazing," which gave Mr. Ulrich confidence. The students' eyes lit up at seeing their first Japanese guest, and they continued asking questions until the teacher stopped them. One student commented happily, "It was very impressive how Mr. Hirotani answered each question politely, with humor and a smile. If I have an opportunity like this, I want to try my best to give a corporate presentation, too," raising their motivation to study Japanese language and Japanese culture.
